Eight countries from the European Paddle Pass community held a Benchmark Event / Core Group Meeting in Basel in October 2018. The meeting was centered around the paddle-standards for Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP), Slalom and Touring- Kayak.
At the meeting the EPP-countries informally met with Raphael Kuner, representing the ACA. The meeting served for the organizations to better know each other – and to open up for possible future cooperation.
The participating countries were: Denmark, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland. The work done at the meeting will soon result in a new edition of the EPP-standards. The member-countries will meet again in march 2019 in France.
